I'm so pleased you've decided to continue your journey with me.
One of the reasons I created Momentum is because I know that losing weight isn't usually about learning something new. More often, it's about staying connected to what you already know.
Sometimes we simply need a gentle reminder.
A fresh perspective.
Someone to help keep us accountable.
That's what I hope Momentum becomes for you.
Whether you're still working towards your Dare to Dream goal or maintaining the weight you've already lost, every week I'll share one Momentum Thought—a simple idea to keep you focused on what really matters.
So let's begin with one of the most important lessons of all.
Consistency Wins
One of the things that concerns me least is when someone tells me,
"I followed the Four'mula this week, but the scales didn't move."
What concerns me much more is when someone tells me they've stopped logging, stopped walking, or have slipped back into repeated binges.
Why?
Because behaviour comes before results.
The scales don't always respond immediately.
Sometimes they take a week.
Sometimes they take two.
But if you continue walking, stay within your calorie allowance and keep following the Four'mula, the scales almost always catch up.
I've seen it hundreds of times.
And I'm sure you've seen it too.
This week, don't judge your success by what the scales say.
Judge it by whether you've continued doing the things that work.
Every meal you log...
Every walk you complete...
Every decision to keep going...
Those are the things that create lasting change.
Trust the process.
