Who we are

Slimfits is the coaching practice of Sorele, a certified NLP practitioner and transformational coach. For the purposes of data protection law (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the GDPR), Slimfits is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What information we collect

Depending on how you use Slimfits, we may collect:

• Contact and account details: your name, email address, phone number, postal address and date of birth, so we can set up your account and Sorele can reach you for your coaching calls.
• Health and wellness information that you choose to share with us or enter in the Slimfits Companion app: your weight and measurements, meals and calories, walks, water, goals, reminder times, and any before photos you decide to add. This is health data and we only collect it with your explicit consent, which you give the first time you start tracking and can withdraw at any time.
• Messages: what you write to Esther, Sorele’s assistant in the app, messages to Sorele, contact-form submissions and emails.
• Payment details: when you purchase a program, payment is processed securely by Kajabi together with Stripe or PayPal. We receive a record of your purchase; we never see or store your full card details.
• Technical data: browser and device type, IP address, approximate location, pages visited and how the site and app are used, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Deliver your program, your coaching calls and the Slimfits Companion app
• Give you weekly feedback and coaching based on what you track
• Respond to your questions and messages
• Process payments, send receipts and keep our accounts
• Send program emails, reminders and, if you agree, occasional news and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Keep our website and app secure and improve them

Why we are allowed to use it

We rely on the following legal bases:

• Your contract with us: to deliver the program, the app and the support you paid for.
• Your consent: for the health and wellness data you enter, and for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your data in the app or unsubscribing.
• Our legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, understanding how it is used and improving it, and answering your questions.
• Legal obligations: keeping invoices and accounting records for as long as tax law requires.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run Slimfits, and only as much as they need:

• Kajabi: hosts this website, the course content, our email newsletters and the checkout.
• Stripe and PayPal: process your payment.
• Brevo: sends transactional emails from the Companion app, such as weigh-in reminders.
• Our hosting provider (Hetzner): runs the Companion app and its database on servers in the European Union.
• AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI): when you write to Esther in the app, the text of the conversation and the tracking context needed to answer are processed by an AI model to generate a reply. Your name and account are not shared for this purpose and your messages are not used to train their models.
• Video and calling tools used for live sessions and coaching calls, under their own privacy terms.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, mainly in the United States. Where that is the case, the transfer is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

The Slimfits Companion app

The Companion app stores what you track (weight, meals, walks, goals, photos and messages) on our own server in the European Union, not on Kajabi. Sorele and the people who help her coach see this data so they can support you. Esther, the assistant in the app, is automated and reads your tracking to answer your questions.

You stay in control: you can export or delete your tracking data from the app at any time, and deleting it withdraws your consent for us to hold it. The app also keeps a copy of recent logs on your device so it works offline; that copy is removed when you sign out.

How your data is protected

Your privacy is important to us. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information: encrypted connections, password-protected accounts, access limited to the people who need it, and regular backups stored securely. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever discover a breach that puts your data at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

How long we keep it

• Account and tracking data: for as long as you are a member, and for up to 24 months after your last program so your history is waiting if you come back. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
• Messages: for as long as your account exists, so Sorele can follow your journey.
• Purchase and invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically 7 years.
• Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Have your information deleted (“the right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict or object to how we use it
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before
• Complain to the data protection authority in your country

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Cookies

This website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work (signing in, the checkout, remembering your preferences) and analytics cookies that help us understand which pages are useful. The Companion app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work as expected.

Children

Slimfits programs are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add a new feature or change a service provider. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
